HOW TO BUY TICKETS
The Sundance Film Festival is where independent film meets independent audiences. Here's everything audiences need to know about getting Festival Passes, Ticket Packages, and Individual Tickets.
1. KNOW YOUR OPTIONS
The Sundance Film Festival offers a variety of ways you can gain access to the films, the opening night and closing night parties, and the official Festival venues. Knowing how to gain access will prepare you for your Festival experience. The Sundance Film Festival offers several different options for admittance to Festivalgoers: the comprehensive experience of Festival Passes, the ease of Ticket Packages, and the convenience of Advance Individual Tickets.
2. REGISTER ONLINE
The Festival Passes, Ticket Packages, and Advance Individual Tickets for the Sundance Film Festival are in high demand, so you must first register online for an opportunity to purchase them. Mark your calendar with the registration dates listed below. You'll need to register online in order to be eligible to receive a timeslot to purchase a Festival Pass, Ticket Package, or Advance Individual tickets.

To register visit our website (sundance.org/festival) and click on the registration link during the indicated dates. Registration is not first-come, first-served, so there is no advantage to registering on the first day. Our system randomly assigns purchase timeslots to registrants. All registration periods begin at 9:00 a.m. MT and end at 5 p.m. MT.
3. LOOK FOR YOUR EMAIL NOTIFICATION
Once the registration period is complete, our system randomly assigns purchase timeslots to registrants. We'll then send you an email notification indicating whether or not you were assigned a timeslot to purchase*. If you were assigned a timeslot, the email will include a date and time you may return to our website to make your purchase. You can look for your email notification on the following dates:

Any additional inventory (Festival Passes, Ticket Packages, and Individual Tickets) will be posted online for purchase after the sales dates if there is a surplus. 4. MAKE YOUR PURCHASE
Once you've registered online and received your email notification with an assigned timeslot you are ready to make your purchase A link will be posted on our website during each sales period that will allow you to buy a Festival Pass, Ticket Package, or Individual Tickets. You'll need to enter your email address, password, and account code in order to login and make your purchase. Once your transaction is complete, we'll update you with emails letting you know all the details!

5. COLLECT YOUR FESTIVAL PASS, TICKET PACKAGE, OR ADVANCE INDIVIDUAL TICKETS
You may choose to have your Festival Pass, Ticket Package, or Advance Individual Tickets sent to you via Express Delivery, OR you may pick them up when you arrive in Utah. To have your purchase sent to you via Express Delivery, you must select that delivery option when you purchase your Festival Pass, Ticket Package, or Advance Individual Tickets. Once your transaction is complete, we cannot change the delivery method.
EXPRESS DELIVERY
The Express Delivery option may be selected at the time of purchase*** for a fee of $25. Festival Passes, Ticket Packages, and Advance Individual Tickets will be sent no later than January 12, 2009 and will require a signature upon receipt.
* Express Delivery is not available for any Locals Festival Passes, Ticket Packages, or Advance Individual Tickets. A state issued I.D. and proof of residency are required to pickup any Locals Festival Pass, Ticket Package, or Advance Individual Tickets.
** We are unable to send Festival Passes, Ticket Packages, or Advance Individual Tickets internationally. International patrons may collect their purchases when they arrive at the Festival.
PASS AND PACKAGE PICKUP
If you purchase a Festival Pass or Ticket Package and choose to pick it up when you arrive at the Festival, you may collect it at the Pass and Package Office. The Pass and Package Office is located at 136 Heber Avenue in Park City, next door to the Main Box Office at the Gateway Center. Patrons may collect their Festival Passes or Ticket Packages from January 15 - 24, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. State issued I.D. will be required for pickup.
TICKET PICKUP
Advance Individual Tickets may be collected at any one of our four Main Box Offices (Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Sundance Resort). Please refer to our Main Box Office hours of operation to plan your pickup accordingly. Tickets will not be available for pickup at any theatre. State issued I.D. will be required for pickup.

These tickets don't require a registration, and you can either go online or show up at one of our Main Box Office locations to purchase your tickets.
DAY-OF-SHOW SALES
January 16, 2009 - January 25, 2009
Didn't get the tickets you wanted to a sold-out screening? Come in to our Main Box Offices in Salt Lake City or Park City to get tickets to previously unavailable screenings. Each morning at 8:00 a.m., we release a limited number of tickets to that day's screenings. Tickets for each theatre's first screening of the day are released at 8:00 a.m. the day before. Day-of-show tickets must be purchased in-person; they are not available online.
WAIT-LIST TICKET SALES
January 15, 2009 - January 25, 2009
The Wait-List has become a Sundance tradition and each year hundreds of Festivalgoers see popular films without advance tickets. There's no need to go to the Main Box Office. Just go directly to the theatre of the screening you wish to attend. Arrive two hours before the scheduled screening time to pick up your wait-list number (one per person). For each theatre's first screening of the day, wait-list numbers will be distributed one hour before the scheduled screening time. Once you have your number, you can leave the theatre, but you must return no later than 30 minutes before the screening time. You'll then line up according to number, and tickets are sold in sequential order. Wait-list tickets are $15 and cash-only.
Be sure to add festivaltickets@sundance.org to your address book or approved senders list to ensure that all e-mails from the Sundance Film Festival will reach you and not be filtered out by Spam Blockers.
