Accreditation for the Sundance Film Festival

The Sundance Film Festival will take place from January 23–February 2, 2025. The Sundance Institute Press Office grants press accreditation to a limited number of media each year. We will offer credentials for in-person accreditation and a select number for the online element of the Festival. Due to our limited supply, we may be unable to accredit freelancers who are not on assignment; therefore, we encourage you to apply with an assignment letter.

The regular window for press accreditation applications for the 2025 Sundance Film Festival is open through October 29. If you have any questions about the accreditation process or press access, please email presscredentials@sundance.org

The Press Inclusion Initiative, our effort to cultivate a more representative press corps at the Sundance Film Festival, returns this year by providing multi-faceted support to journalists from underrepresented communities: specifically, critics who identify as BIPOC, women, LGBTQ+, and/or people with disabilities.

Applications were accepted until August 23rd. Selected participants will be informed in early October.
