Government partnerships are a vital part of our existence, enabling Sundance Institute to support independent storytellers. Contributions from federal, state, and community agencies and embassies provide endorsements for our local, national, and international work. Government grants help us serve artists and audiences and provide leverage to raise additional funding for existing Programs and new initiatives. These activities cultivate original voices in film and television media and enable these artists to reach audiences with unique high-quality stories. Government donors also help us achieve excellence as an organization and foster a culture of learning, mentorship, and accountability.
