Trademark Use & Brand Guidelines
The correct reference to the Institute and the Sundance Film Festival in all editorial content is: Sundance Institute® and Sundance Film Festival®.
All non-editorial uses of the aforementioned trademarks and logos must be pre-approved by Sundance Institute. No usage that accompanies or implies any endorsement or affiliation or sponsorship with any third party is allowed, and will be considered trademark infringement.
Official Sponsors, Partners, and Providers may use the trademark names and logos according to the terms of their partnership agreement. Artists accepted into the Sundance Film Festival may use the toolkits provided and the official Sundance Film Festival laurels in accordance with our guidelines. Artists accepted into other Sundance Institute programs may request permission to use our trademarks or logos for non-editorial purposes.
If you are a third party seeking to use our trademarks or logos for any non-editorial reason – including promotional, commercial, or co-branding purposes – please contact us at press@sundance.org or legal@sundance.org for permission.
Misuse or unauthorized use of our brand assets is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. Sundance Institute reserves all rights to take any action whatsoever to enforce its licensed trademarks.
