The nominees for the 2024 Gotham Awards have been unveiled by the Gotham Film & Media Institute, and it fills us with pride to see so many titles have ties to the Sundance Institute.
From dynamic features to gripping documentaries, projects with connections to the Institute pepper eight categories at the Gotham Awards. We are elated to see these storytellers and artists earn the spotlight from The Gotham Film & Media Institute, an organization that values the same things we do; it “celebrates and nurtures independent film” and strives “to elevate original voices and untold stories that propel cultural impact and influence the industry to be more expansive and inclusive.”
See the list of all the Sundance-supported projects nominated for the 34th annual Gotham Awards below, click on our coverage links to learn more, and cheer for them on December 2, as the winners are announced in person at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City at 7 p.m. ET.
