Sundance Institute Announces Acting Company & Collaborators for Fall Musical and Ensemble Lab at MAS

New York, NY — The Sundance Institute Theatre Program announced the acting company and collaborators for the three projects being developed at its Fall Lab, which begins today at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA). Under the supervision of Philip Himberg, Artistic Director of the Theatre Program, and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the two-week Lab provides creative support and direction for innovative musical theatre and ensemble-generated projects.

Sundance Institute Names Laurie Hopkins and Sarah Pearce as Co-Managing Directors Based in Park City

Park City, UT — Sundance Institute Executive Director Keri Putnam announced the appointment of Sarah Pearce and Laurie Hopkins to the positions of Co-Managing Directors of the Institute. Reporting to Putnam and based in Park City, Utah, Hopkins and Pearce will share duties as internal and external leaders of the organization, each with distinct areas of responsibility. In addition, Brooke McAffee has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of Sundance Institute.

Eight Projects Selected for 2012 RAWI Screenwriters Lab in Jordan

Los Angeles, CA — Screenwriting fellows for the eighth edition of the Rawi Screenwriters Lab were announced today by The Royal Film Commission-Jordan and Sundance Institute. The Rawi Screenwriters Lab is an example of Sundance Institute’s longstanding international work to support emerging filmmakers around the world.
